Officials from Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Institute of Trauma (SMBBIT) Karachi namely Dr.Abid Abbas Shaikh and Mr.Asad Sajjad Khan visited SITE Association of Industry for an introductory meeting with office bearers & members.
President Ahmed Azeem Alvi, SVP Khalid Riaz, VP Muhammad Riaz Dhedhi, former SVP Abdul Kadir Bilwani, former VP Muhammad Farhan Ashrafi and EC Members namely Aman Naseem and Muhammad Tahir Goreja were present in the meeting.
It has been decided that SMBBIT will provide treatment to industrial workers of SITE area on priority basis and a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in this effect shall be signed soon.
It was also decided that an small trauma Centre / dispensary shall be opened in SITE area at a suitable location to facilitate industrial workers. Dr. Abid Abbas Shaikh also invited members of SITE Association of Industry to visit the Trauma Centre which was accepted with thanks.
