On the invitation of the President Ahmed Azeem Alvi, Commissioner SESSI Hadi Bukhsh Kalhoro, along with high officials of his department visited SITE Association of Industry.
In the meeting members emphasized the urgent need to improve SESSI-run Kulsumbai Valika Social Security Hospital. Key issues discussed included hospital governance, digitization through HIMS & NADRA integration, resolution of pending reimbursement cases, and the recent child health incident.
SAI emphasize the need of rationalization in this time of crises & set a mechanism of downsizing the industries & reduction of labour force in an amicable way.
The Commissioner assured strict action against those found responsible in the HIV case, along with the implementation of SOPs to prevent communicable diseases and the strengthening of hospital management systems. He also reaffirmed SESSI’s commitment to complete full digitization by February 2026 and to further enhance collaboration with the industry.
The Commissioner SESSI agreed to involve the association for the speedy resolution of pending cases of member industries and to decide the same on the recommendation of the Association.
Chief Coordinator Saleem Parekh, VP Muhammad Riaz Dhedhi, Former President Muhammad Kamran Arbi, Former SVP Abdul Kadir Bilwani, Chairman of Labour Committee Muhammad Tahir Goreja , EC member Junaid ur Rehman and Aman Naseem were present in the meeting.
